Â This year, on Sunday, April 1, The Culinary Trust is providing a full day of programming that gives culinary professionals the tools needed to support Chefs Move to Schools. Â William Yosses, the Executive Pastry Chef at the White House and Chefs Move to Schools supporter will make opening remarks to start off the day.
Workshops include:
- Cooking the ideal public school lunch with Chef Bill Telepan
- Three approaches to getting kids to eat healthy foods, featuring Brian Wansink, Chef Bobo and Ellie Krieger
- Nutrition and education primers from experts at Columbia University Teacher’s College
- An overview of how federal policy impacts what our kids eat.
Registration for IACP members is open now; registration for single tickets to The Culinary Trust events will be open to the public beginning on February 17.
